Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
"Our consumers are massive fans of Ministry of Sound series so having them provide the feature music for FIFA Football 2002 is very exciting for us,” said Chris Taylor, sound artist for EA SPORTS. “Music fans worldwide can now experience the sound of 30,000 screaming soccer fans chanting to the beats of Ministry of Sound dance tracks in FIFA Football 2002.”

The 10 tracks included in FIFA FOOTBALL 2002 include: “Never Gonna Come Back Down, (Hybrid’s Echoplex Dub)” by BT, “Energy Flow” by Vitae, “First Snow” by Issi Noho, “Tenshi,” by Gouryella, “Overdrive” by Sandy v Housetrap, “Stop and Panic” by Cirrus, “Repeat the Sequence” by The Edison Factor, “Das Glockenspiel” by Schiller, “The Bells” by Terpsichord, and R4’s “Revolution.”

EA SPORTS FIFA Series has established itself as not only the all-time best selling sports interactive franchise in the world, but also as a vehicle for top artists to bring their music to a cutting edge medium. Past artists who have provided lead tracks in FIFA games are Moby and his “Bodyrock” remix from the hit album PLAY in FIFA 2001 ™, Robbie Williams’ “It’s Only Us” in FIFA 2000, Fat Boy Slim’s “The Rockafeller Skank” in FIFA 99, Chumbawamba’s “Tub Thumpin’” in World Cup 98, and Blur’s “Song 2” in Road To World Cup.

“As a record company and music publisher, we are always looking for ways to get our music distributed, beyond the straight performance and sale of records,” said Tony Moss, publishing manager of Ministry of Sound. “Video games give us an important platform for dance music to be heard across the globe. And, our producers and writers have consoles and love the idea of being involved!”

FIFA Football 2002, including licensed Ministry of Sound tracks and re-invented gameplay will be available for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system in November.
