Kemco brings the extensive comic book universe of the Dark Knight Detective to the next generation of video game platforms with the action adventure game "Batman: Dark Tomorrow" for Nintendo’s GameCube.

Explosions echo throughout the mean streets of Gotham as rival gangs battle for control of the city. Anarchy reigns supreme with the sudden disappearance of Police Commissioner James Gordon and the lockdown of Arkham Asylum, home for the criminally insane. By using all of his skills, both mental and physical, as well as a variety of gadgets, Batman must stop the gang war, infiltrate Arkham Asylum and rescue the Commissioner. During this time, Batman must also piece together clues to discover the mastermind behind these seemingly unrelated events and stop an evil plan that threatens the fate of the entire world!

Kemco brings the extensive comic book universe of the Dark Knight Detective to the next generation of video game platforms with the action adventure game "Batman: Dark Tomorrow" for Nintendo’s GameCube. "Batman: Dark Tomorrow" is based on an original story by DC Comics and storyteller Kenji Terada ("Final Fantasy I ,II and ?" "Kamurai"). "Batman: Dark Tomorrow" will be available just in time for the hardware launch of the Nintendo GameCube in Europe.

"Batman: Dark Tomorrow" takes the player through Gotham City and beyond with six unique environments ("worlds") – from Gotham's tallest skyscrapers, to its deepest, darkest sewers to the ominous Arkham Asylum. The new GameCube hardware will allow the player to fully realize Batman's fighting techniques and intelligent puzzle solving skills, as well as his many awesome gadgets and devices.

Batman has been fighting crime, in several forms of media, for over sixty years. His story, introduced in the comics in 1939, has become one of legend. After witnessing the murder of both his parents as a young boy, multi-billionaire Bruce Wayne spent his life in pursuit of physical and mental perfection in order to wage an unrelenting war on crime. Adopting the form of a bat in order to strike terror into the hearts of criminals, who are "a superstitious, cowardly lot," Bruce Wayne, as The Batman, continues to fight to keep the streets of Gotham safe. Newspaper strips, a radio series, and live-action and animated TV and movies have followed. Batman will also be appearing as a member of the Justice League, launching on the Cartoon Network this fall.
