VR1 Entertainment President Richard P. Wnuk announced today the company has joined with Jaleco USA, a publisher of entertainment software, to form the multi-platform software gaming publisher Jaleco Entertainment.

Jaleco Entertainment unites the developing talent of VR1 with the publishing expertise of Jaleco USA to become a major producer of quality entertainment software for the global market. The company will introduce nine titles on six different platforms in the fourth quarter of this year.

Leading its list of soon-to-be-released titles is Trailer Park Tycoon(TM), an amusing resource management game for the PC; an upgrade of the popular, massively multi-player aerial combat simulator game, Fighter Ace 3.5; and a number of action and adventure games for the Game Boy Advance(TM), Playstation 2(TM), and GameCube(TM), among others.

The new company is based in Buffalo, N.Y., with European headquarters in London, England. Jaleco Entertainment maintains developmental studios around the world, supporting 11 internal teams dedicated to the creation of proprietary intellectual properties.

"Jaleco Entertainment has brought together the best combination of industry experience and fresh talent," said Mr. Wnuk. "We are now positioned to become a global leader in publishing intellectual properties and providing quality software for the gaming public."

In its continuing quest to bring the best gaming titles to market, Jaleco Entertainment also works with strong external development studios, licensed publishers and qualified distribution partners.
