To date, over 500,000 people have played Dark Age of Camelot, with over 50,000 people around the world playing simultaneously at peak times. Currently there are well over 200,000 subscribers of Dark Age of Camelot, and when the game goes live in Korea this number is sure to surge further.
Dark Age of Camelot: Shrouded Isles extends the story of the original game with new character classes, new races, and three new continents. The game was developed by Mythic Entertainment and co-published with Abandon Entertainment.
Since the release of Dark Age of Camelot, the game has received significant acclaim: Gamespot gave the game 9.1 out of 10, and named it Multiplayer Role Playing Game of the Year and one of the top ten PC games of 2001; USA Today and MSNBC both named the game PC Top Game of the Year; PC Gamer awarded the
