Only weeks after unveiling its European marketing and operations headquarters, VisionTek, a leading provider of advanced graphics and memory solutions for PCs, today announced that it is the first company in Europe to deliver GeForce4 Ti4600, NVIDIA Corporation’s flagship GeForce4 product, into the European retail channel. Working with retailers in the UK and Germany, VisionTek began shipping its Xtasy GeForce4 Ti 4600 AGP graphics accelerator board on March 1st.
“This is a significant win for VisionTek, signalling our ability to move quickly in a market that rewards fast movers again and again,” says Dirk Schunk, director of business development for VisionTek EMEA. “But this is only the beginning. We will continue to work closely with leading European retailers to build VisionTek into one of the premier retail brands in PC graphics throughout Europe.”

Wortmann AG and Maxcom GmbH of Germany and UK retailer Man and Machine Ltd. were the first to stock the Xtasy GeForce4 Ti 4600 AGP cards. A participant of NVIDIA’s worldwide GeForce4 press launch on February 5th, VisionTek collaborated closely with these leading retailers to deliver the next-generation graphics cards to Europe before any other GeForce4-based product.

Xtasy GeForce4 Ti 4600 (MSRP 549 €) packs 128Mb of 650MHz DDR memory. The new card takes full advantage of NVIDIA’s nView™ multi-display technology, 'always on' Accuview antialiasing and radically-improved Lightspeed Memory Architecture II™.

These new NVIDIA GPU features, combined with VisionTek’s rock-solid manufacturing ability and lifetime warranty, results in the world’s most feature-packed and stable hardcore graphics accelerators for personal computers.

Now available in Europe, VisionTek will ship three more new cards incorporating GeForce4 graphics muscle. Xtasy GeForce4 Ti 4400 (MSRP 449 €) is loaded with 128Mb of 550MHz DDR memory. Xtasy GeForce4 MX 440 (MSRP 199 €) and Xtasy GeForce4 MX 420 (MSRP 169 €) offer fully-integrated features to the mainstream consumer including nView™ multiple-display support and NVIDIA’s Accuview™ antialiasing, which significantly improves image quality without sacrificing performance.

All GeForce4 MX-based Xtasy boards come bundled with Cyberlink Power DVD™, a lifetime warranty and free technical support.
