INFOGRAMES BRINGS THE GREATEST NAMES IN ATARI(R) ARCADE GAMES TO GAME BOY ADVANCE(R)

The games on Atari Anniversary Advance represent some of the most fan- beloved arcade games released by Atari between 1978 and 1980. Many examples of the coin-op machines, from which the game program code for Atari Anniversary Advance was obtained, survive in arcades to this day and still command legions of fans based on their graphically simple presentation but masterfully balanced game play.

While Atari Anniversary Advance has a decidedly nostalgic twist, it also features two entirely new features. Three of the games in Atari Anniversary Advance (Centipede, Super Breakout and Tempest) offer the option of rotating the Game Boy Advance handheld 90 degrees, which allows the player to play the games in their original arcade vertical orientation and takes advantage of all of the Game Boy Advance's screen. The bonus Atari Trivia Challenge presents the player with 20 random multiple-choice questions from a pool of 75 questions on Atari games and history. The player must not only choose the correct answer but also respond as quickly as possible to maximize their points.
