Ubi Soft Entertainment today announced that it has shipped three new E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial games to coincide with the 20th Anniversary celebration of Universal Pictures' and Amblin Entertainment's E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, a major theatrical re-release now in theaters nationwide. The games, E.T. Away From Home, E.T. Phone Home Adventure, and E.T. Interplanetary Mission are all available at retail now. E.T. Away From Home, and E.T. Phone Home Adventure have an MSRP of $19.99 each, and E.T. Interplanetary Mission has an MSRP of $29.99.
"With the success of the film in its original theatrical run and the twentieth anniversary re-release, E.T. is growing more popular than ever before as an entirely new generation of fans falls for this beloved character," said Laurent Detoc, president of Ubi Soft Entertainment. "All three titles feature fun, non-violent, easy-to-learn gameplay that will appeal to children and parents alike as they bring the E.T. experience home."

About The Games

  • E.T. Away From Home is a challenging board-style game for 1 or 2 players. The game features 13 games of memory, dexterity and logic including Halloween Costume and Connect the Planets. You can also play as Elliott or Gertie in the special cooperation mode allowing you to team play with a friend as you lead E.T. to his spaceship on time.

  • E.T. Phone Home Adventure, featuring all your favorite scenes from the movie, is a fantastic adventure set in an amazing 3D world, mixing exploration with challenging activities. The title features 12 games including a coded message puzzle to "phone home" and a moonlight bicycle ride. You play as E.T. as you help him safely re-join his spaceship, meeting Elliott, Gertie and their friends along the way.

  • E.T. Interplanetary Mission lets you adventure across the galaxy and 25 levels, while discovering 4 planets including E.T.'s home planet, and completing new missions and puzzles on Planet Earth. The main goal is to create a communicator and "Phone Home!" just like in the movie as you master E.T.'s 4 magic powers, levitation, heart stun, telekinesis and healing.

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Steven Spielberg's timeless and beloved classic, Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment has re-released E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial in a new version along with never-before-seen footage, state-of-the-art computer-generated enhancements and a digitally-remixed soundtrack.

With the power of a fable and the soul of a fairy tale, E.T. is the thrilling and deeply moving story of the special friendship that develops between a lonely young boy and a wise, benevolent visitor from another planet who becomes lost on Earth. As the boy attempts to help his extra-terrestrial companion contact his home planet so that he might be rescued, they must elude scientists and government agents determined to apprehend the alien for their own purposes...which results in an adventure greater than anything either of them could have imagined.

From its wordless, poetic and suspenseful introductory sequence to an exhilarating, poignant finale, E.T. has become an indelible part of American film history. Directed by Spielberg from a screenplay by Melissa Mathison and produced by Spielberg and Kathleen Kennedy, E.T. co-stars Dee Wallace Stone, Peter Coyote, Drew Barrymore, Henry Thomas and Robert MacNaughton.
