Ultimate Ride Disney Coaster - Features & Screens

by Rainier on May 30, 2002 @ 1:09 p.m. PDT

Imagine the thrill of creating your own magical Disney coaster set in an authentic Disney backdrop. Now imagine taking the coaster for a spin! With Disney Imagineering's Ultimate Ride Disney Coaster, coaster-building fans can take the ride of their life and face the ultimate challenge in the role of a "Disney Imagineer" as they create Disney theme park rides, complete with genuine environments and characters from Disney theme parks around the world.
In addition, players can further customize their creations with triggers placed on the track that activate sound effects and prop animations such as fireworks. Upon completion, players can use a variety of camera angles to soar through the air and experience the adrenaline rush of riding their very own Disney coaster through Toontown, Frontierland, Main Street or Space Mountain.

In Imagineering Mission Mode, players partake in numerous coaster-building challenges created by Disney Imagineers, including recreating world-famous Disney attractions. Players can even add their own exciting twists, such as turning out the lights or adding more loops in Space Mountain. Free Form Building Mode lets players' imaginations run wild as they create any coaster design they can fathom, using all the Disney props they wish. Once finished, players' designs are critiqued and rated by a panel of Disney's most discerning characters, including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy and Pluto. Just as with all Ultimate Ride games, players can share their designs with other coaster fans by uploading finished coasters to the Ultimate Ride Web site at www.ultimateridegame.com or email them to friends and family.
