With a first-person gameplay perspective, the game pulls the player into Lovecraft's nightmarish world of demons, demi-gods and ghouls.“The publishing contract between Ravensburger Interactive and Headfirst Productions Limited for the development and publication of “Call of Cthulhu : Dark Corners of the Earth” has been terminated by Headfirst Productions Limited for breach of contract by Ravensburger Interactive. The game’s development continues unabated and is now scheduled for release early in 2003. A further statement will be issued when a new publisher for this title has been found.”
