The Shadowbane pre-order box will be available in September at Electronics Boutique, Gamestop, and CompUSA in limited quantities for $10.00 suggested retail price. Buyers of the pre-order box will be credited the price of the pre-order box when they purchase the final version of Shadowbane in November.

The pre-order CD contains:

• Shadowbane Desktop Wallpaper
• A Shadowbane Screensaver
• A Shadowbane Video "Trailer"
• A one-time-use promotional code to unlock three Shadowbane Restricted Races: Minotaur, Aracroix, and Centaur.

Customers who pre-order Shadowbane online at EBWorld, Gamefixx and Gamestop will only receive the code for the restricted races through those respective online retailers. Ubi Soft and Wolfpack Studios also confirmed today that restricted races will be unlocked each month as players play the game, providing those customers who do not pre-order Shadowbane the opportunity to access the restricted races as well. Ubi Soft will be providing customers with a limited edition Shadowbane pre-order box which will contain codes to unlock three of the game's restricted races -- Minotaur, Centaur and Aracroix. The races will be unlocked each month after its November launch for all players, but fans who want to explore the Shadowbane world as a Minotaur, Centaur or Aracroix immediately can do so by ordering the pre-sell box. All of Shadowbane's races have unique abilities, and the restricted races, like all of Sahdowbane's 10 races, will benefit from more than 20 character promotion classes to create a unique combination of professions, classes, skills and fighting styles as players progress.
