The growth of PlayStation 2 continues to accelerate since its introduction in November 2000, and there are now currently over 8.25 million PlayStation 2 owners throughout the PAL territories, Over 440 software titles will be available for PlayStation 2 by Christmas. With the added benefit of also being able to play PS one games on PlayStation 2, gamers will be able to choose from over 1500 PlayStation titles as well play DVD movies and audio CD's.
