BAM! Entertainment today announced that its action title based on the film Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever, begins shipping this week. Coinciding with the recent theatrical debut of the Franchise Pictures film starring Antonio Banderas, Lucy Liu and Ray Park, Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever Game Boy Advance marks Ecks and Sever's second appearance on the handheld unit. BAM! Entertainment shipped the critically acclaimed Ecks vs. Sever the video game last fall as part of its multi-title agreement with Franchise Pictures.

"When we launched Ecks vs. Sever last fall, we knew then that we had to bring these rogue characters back-what better time to do it than with the release of the movie," said Alain Tascan, Vice President of Worldwide Product Development for BAM! Entertainment. "Ecks and Sever fans can now enjoy these electric and engaging characters on the little screen and the big screen."

Ex-FBI agent Jeremiah Ecks and Ex-NSA operative Sever are back in a new action-filled game that advances the boundaries of First Person Shooters on the Game Boy Advance. Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever offers more than 24 single player missions, playing as Ecks or Sever. Using various methods of transportation including riding in a car, catching a subway train and swimming underwater, players will have to battle against high-end technology devices including laser trip wires, infrared goggles, jetpacks and aqualungs in order to complete their missions.

"The critical acclaim which BAM!'s Ecks vs. Sever received last fall is a great example of how the interactive and film industries can work together to build rich, captivating characters," said Elie Samaha, chairman and CEO of Franchise Pictures. "Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever Game Boy Advance is another great new adventure that allows us to offer our moviegoers a way to connect with these characters in another medium."

Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever for Game Boy Advance offers single and multiplayer multi-pak options. Developed by Crawfish Interactive, the game is rated T for Teen by the Entertainment Software Ratings Board (ESRB) and is available at an estimated retail price of $39.99.
