Idoru Announces 'Volley World League' - Screens

by Rainier on Sept. 3, 2002 @ 5:47 p.m. PDT

No doubt about it, Volley World League (VWL) is a volleyball videogame ;) Italian developer Idoru is currently working on the PC version but also an XBOX conversion is scheduled. Not too many volley ball titles on the PC at all so lets hope they make it a good one. Check the screens, it looks like they are in the right track ...

Due to the lack of volleyball sport simulations and due to the proclamation of Italy as "Team of the century" on 2001, Idoru began the development of this game.
VWL will be a PC and XBOX videogame (now Idoru is developing the PC version).

We want to reach a strong graphic appeal keeping a good gameplay. The use of motion capture animations to move the athletes of the over 120 teams planned for the game (national, italian and non italian club teams) and the 10 game pitches inspired to their real counterparts will give more realism to the game.

We are looking for a publisher, the material shown at ECTS 2002 excited the interest of onlookers.
