The 'Legions' Are Coming To Germany

by Rainier on Sept. 6, 2002 @ 10:15 p.m. PDT

Legion is a revolutionary, historically accurate strategy game, which unfolds during the rich history that was the Roman empire. The game features both strategic and tactical elements. Published by strategy First in North America, it is scoring extremely well with consumers due to it’s easy playability and real settings. The battles are a spectacle, as well as a game play feature and players will enjoy them for the fun of watching hundreds of men fighting a bloody engagement.

The next weeks will see Schanz Interactive announcing a wave of game releases mainly from partners waiting to see their labels in the German market.

Gerhard Schanz, MD at Schanz Interactive says "the times are a changing, and we find we need to adapt and broaden the services we offer to meet the needs of our clients in the gaming community. Publishing in Germany seems like the most natural outcome for us in the existing scenario. We are eager to make a start with the Real Time Strategy game, Legion from our partners. This will definitely mark the beginning of a very exciting chapter in the history of our company.”

Schanz Interactive is the publishing arm of Schanz International Consultants. So far Schanz Interactive has been licensing games for publishers in India, Brazil, Czech Republic and Slovakia.
