Rebellion is pleased to announce that Judge Dredd: Dredd Vs. Death is now available on PC, PlayStation 2 and Xbox from all good games retailers, and online from stockists such as GAME (you can also check out an exclusive six-page online Dredd strip at www.game.uk.com ) at an RRP of £29.99 (PC) and £39.99 (PlayStation 2, Xbox). The game will be released on GameCube during November.

Published by Sierra, a division of Vivendi Universal, Judge Dredd: Dredd Vs. Death is a fast-paced first-person shooter that allows you to take on the role of Judge Dredd and enforce the Law on the mean streets of Mega-City One.

However, you've got another think coming if you're under the impression this is just going to be a normal day of busting juvie wall-scrawlers and illegal muties. Right from the start, Dredd is faced with new and savage adversaries, including zombies, vampires and death cultists, and ultimately he will have to deal with his most persistent and terrifying nemeses, the Dark Judges, Death, Fear, Fire and Mortis.

Judge Dredd: Dredd Vs. Death offers 12 levels of ferocious cutting-edge gameplay across many locations familiar from Judge Dredd stories in 2000 AD, plus 12 challenging 'Arcade' levels and a whole host of multiplayer modes that can be played via LAN or online on PC, or with up to four players splitscreen on console. It is also possible for two players to play through the story mode cooperatively on splitscreen.

Jason Kingsley, CEO and Creative Director of Rebellion, says, "It is a wonderful feeling to see Dredd Vs. Death out there on the shelves after the sheer amount of time and effort that has been put into development of the game. The team has done an absolutely sterling job on the Dredd, and we are delighted with the high level of support Vivendi Universal have given us. We sincerely hope that Dredd Vs. Death will meet the expectations of every Dredd fan and gamer who has been waiting for a definitive videogame rendition of the Dredd universe for so long".
