The New Orleans Media Experience is a "MediaFest" to join such signature events as The Big Easy's world-famous Mardi Gras and Jazz & Heritage Festival. "The Experience" will be held in New Orleans for the first time ever from October 26th to November 1st, 2003. "The Experience" will highlight the convergence of film, advertising, music, videogames, graphic design, and more. It will also offer an array of panels, symposiums, professional speakers and moderators all aiming to connect these industries and heighten the progress of each. There will film premiers such as "Hypnotic", video game pre-release exhibitions and demos, as well as Photography and Digital Video Workshops, where one can learn from world leaders in the intuitive development of today's and tomorrow's creative storytellers and image makers!

On Thursday, October 30th, there will be a music benefit concert thrown by Rock the Vote at the Municipal Auditorium featuring: N*E*R*D, CLIPSE, and SpyMob. New and ground-breaking video games will be debuted at the NOME including the following titles and more: Tony Hawk's Underground, Spawn, Armageddon, Soul Caliber 2, Call of Duty, Kill Switch, Ninja Gaiden, America's Army Special Forces.

Some of the confirmed speakers at the New Orleans Media Experience will be J Allard, Microsoft Corporate VP, Mike Caren, Senior VP, A&R, Atlantic Records, Steve Gray, Director of Game Development (Lord of the Rings), Neal Moritz, Film Producer (XXX, The Fast and the Furious, and S.W.A.T.), and much more. For a more comprehensive list of key note speakers, panels, and symposiums at "The Experience" go directly to http://www.neworleansmediaexperience.com/speakers.html.

The event is an ideal networking opportunity for those in their respective industries, students and afficianados to directly ask questions and interact with proven professionals in their fields, and to find out what new advances in technology, business and production will be happening on the near-term horizon, giving them an advantage in the marketplace over their peers. Furthermore, though there are many festivals out there from Sundance to SXSW, none are this affordable, nor accompanied by such a festive celebration - HALLOWEEN IN NEW ORLEANS!!
