To install the game,

If you have the disk version of the demo, insert the CD into your computers CD drive. Select the language you would like to view the game in and then select next. On the user screen select either the default install or the advanced install (which allows you to specify an install directory). Select Next and the game will begin installing.

If you have the downloaded version of the game, place the executable file you downloaded into a temporary folder. Doubleclick the executable to extract the game files. Run the Setup file. Select the language you would like to view the game in and then select next. To uninstall the game, click on the Start Menu. Select Programs -->
Select EA GAMES --> Need for Speed Underground Demo -->
Uninstall Need for Speed Underground Demo.

This demo requires DirectX 9.0 If you do not have this installed, you can download it by going to:

This demo lets you play a 1 lap circuit race, single drag race or the same two races ONLINE against up to 3 other racers.
