eJay & KISS 100 Suck Face!

by Thomas on Feb. 5, 2003 @ 3:08 a.m. PST

eJay, the world's leading providers of music software, has teamed up with KISS 100 to promote the launch of its latest ground breaking release, Dance eJay 5! Dance eJay 5 is the latest release from the award winning Dance series, boasting over 5,000 royalty free stunning dance and club sounds. Adding to this the easy to use, stylish reworked interface, plus stunning new instruments and a brand new 3D sound engine and eJay became a natural promotional partner for KISS 100.

eJay supplied KISS 100 with an exclusive Dance eJay demo which was posted to their website www.kiss100.com during November 2002. Surfers were invited to use the demo to make their own Dance tracks and enter them into a competition to win incredible prizes - DMC mixing lessons, Limited Edition Vestax Decks and a copy of Dance eJay 5! In addition to the this online campaign, KISS 100 directed listeners to the Dance 5 demo through numerous airtime DJ live reads and trails in their Kiss Presents Show with their very own DJ extraordinaire, Steve Smart.

With an astonishing amount of entrants, we can confirm Steve Smart has finally chosen the winning artist who will be receiving this exclusive music package.

Nina Jenkins, Product Marketing and PR Manager, commented on the campaign:

"We've had an absolutely amazing response to this competition. Apart from all the London entrants we've had a huge amount of musical talent arriving from all over the world, including, Portugal, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, Poland, Sweden, Cyprus, Italy, New York, Canada, Norway, Russia and even on the other side of the world in Australia! The campaign response has clearly demonstrated the strength and success of the eJay, as one of the world's leading music software brands, on an international level."

Jacque Chadwick, Account Manager for Kiss 100 and Magic added:

"The power of the promotion ended up stretching WAY beyond our transmission area across the world. It was a cool, targeted campaign which allowed trial of the game to encourage purchase, and tied the brand values of eJay closely with that of Kiss and their listeners- cool, credible, accessible, passionate about their music.
