"It's a very addictive game based on a simple premise: bass fishing. You can literally lose all track of time playing this game. Top Angler is visually impressive, the fish are fantastically rendered and their movement is unbelievably realistic," says producer Mike Bellhorn.
The Game:
Top Angler is the quintessential man versus nature game. Along with the multiple levels of play, Top Angler has a "deep" interactive tackle box with more than 36 lures, real pole action/response, a zoom view feature, and an enhanced "live well" feature that shows cumulative weight, type of fish caught and lures used. It also boasts real-time scenery and weather changes as well as the innovative split screen "fight/underwater" view (allowing player to see above and below the water).
Features:
- Multiple levels and campaigns featuring lakeside lodges, castles, and more.
- Improved Graphics, effects, textures, and AI for the Nintendo GameCube.
- Beautiful and ultra-realistic fish including Largemouth Bass, Redeye, Bluegill and more.
- Unique split screen "fight/underwater" view
