Softwrap's ESD Momentum Grows With Three New Partnerships

by Thomas on March 17, 2003 @ 3:19 a.m. PST

Softwrap today announced three new agreements with gaming companies Blue Tea Games, Alawar Entertainment and Grass Games.com. The three companies will adopt Softwrap's technology to distribute secure versions of their games online. The growing adoption of Softwrap's technology by games developers demonstrates the appeal of 'try before you buy' solutions. Steve Zi Kun Zhao from Blue Tea Games revealed that it was Softwrap's "secure and professional approach to online distribution" that appealed to him in distributing the game Save The Meeklits, along with the "reasonable commission based fee".

Aidan McKenna, Director, Grass Games.com added, "Not only do Softwrap make our game, Table Tennis Pro, as easy to purchase as possible for the end user, but they also, and more importantly, put the marketing muscle of a large company into promoting the game, something which smaller games companies can benefit greatly from and would pretty much be incapable of doing themselves".

Softwrap's global reach also includes the software developer Alawar Entertainment. Softwrap will now distribute the games Double Digger, Tetris 400, PacMania II and Gold Sprinter through their multiple online channels. Alawar Entertainment Production Manager, Andrew Postnikov described the partnership as an "ideal opportunity to promote games online. The vast distribution channels Softwrap offer will help raise awareness and extra revenue for Alawar".

Emma Morris, Marketing Director, Softwrap comments, 'Our technology provides software developers of all sizes and nationalities to benefit from our extensive marketing channels. We can present software to a new audience of potential customers, increasing sales and building awareness.'
