'Legion Gold' Goes Gold!

by Rainier on March 27, 2003 @ 12:15 p.m. PST

Set in Europe, Legion Gold allows you to take the Roman Empire from its meagre beginnings to the most powerful empire in the world. It includes an extra Germania campaign not included in the original Legion, plus all the patches and add-ons released over the net.

“Legion was such a strong strategy game, and we are very happy to announce this Gold edition,” says Steve Milburn, Director of Marketing for Strategy First Inc. “Now there is even more great content and all new, improved features.”

Brand new features in Legion Gold include:

  • 3 new campaigns – new units, races, structures and even a fantasy setting
  • Battle system – improved strategic and tactical elements
  • Improved – diplomatic, economic and management elements
  • 3 levels of difficulty – provide a challenge to all gamers

Strategy First and Paradox have worked together in the past on award-winning titles such as Europa Universalis I and II and Hearts of Iron and the upcoming Chariots of War.
