Sony Online Entertainment Inc. (SOE) announced today that its latest title for Pocket PC, EverQuest: War on Faydwer, will be available for download on April 28 for $19.99. This title marks the third installment of the on-going EverQuest saga on Pocket PC.

"The previous installments of EverQuest on the Pocket PC have been eagerly accepted by the Pocket PC gaming community," said Michael Lustenberger, director of product marketing, Sony Online Entertainment. "War on Faydwer, the third chapter in the on-going saga, expands on the already well-received gameplay with a number of improvements that are sure to keep gamers happy."

Unlike its Massively Multiplayer Online big brother, EverQuest: War on Faydwer, is a single-player fantasy action game. Developed by Emodiv Inc. (www.emodiv.com), EverQuest: War on Faydwer features four playable character classes; non-linear side quests that expand adventures beyond the main story arc; dozens of new monsters, spells and items; chests that contain either great treasure or unspeakable evil; a new storyline that can be played either as a separate stand-alone game or allows players to import their characters from EverQuest: Attack on Queynos(TM).

EverQuest: War on Faydwer (as well as the two previous games) can be downloaded from http://www.handango.com, or http://www.pocketgear.com. For more information on the game, please visit http://eqpocket.station.sony.com/.
