Developed by Brighton-based Climax, MotoGP: Ultimate Racing Technology 2 offers Xbox and Xbox Live players eight rubber-burning racing modes including stunt, GP, time trial, training challenges, tag, Live and multi-player. All this is parked alongside 16 real-world tracks, all of the 500cc bikes and riders from the 2002 MotoGP series, an intuitive, arcade-style control system for the hardcore racing fan, customisable bikes and the option for budding racers to design their very own personalised bike livery.
MotoGP: Ultimate Racing Technology 2 really comes into its element when played on Xbox Live, where players will be able to create custom riders and race them online at a helmet-boggling 60 frames per second with up to 16 riders on one track during a single race. Players can also use Microsoft's online voice communication to talk banter with the nearest competitor at speeds that will make their voices crack and their knees tremble.
MotoGP, owned and controlled by Dorna, is the world's fastest, most advanced form of motorcycle racing, watched in 208 countries around the world with an average audience of 329 million television viewers per event. Leading motorcycle manufacturers, including Honda, Suzuki and Yamaha, all participate with their own state-of-the-art, high-tech motorcycles unique to the MotoGP Championships.
MotoGP: Ultimate Racing Technology 2 is the perfect fix of speed, excitement and technology with realistic bike physics and intense multiplayer modes making this one of the most in-depth motorcycle racing games to date.
MotoGP: Ultimate Racing Technology 2 will be published for Xbox by THQ on May 16th 2003.
