Lethal Skies II is set on a future Earth devastated by environmental disaster, and now coping with wars among remaining nations vying for control of the planet. Players join the elite fighter squadron Team SW, heroes of the first war called upon to defend against a new enemy intent on controlling the planet. The sequel adds an amazing seven new fighter jets, giving players access to 19 modern-day and experimental “black ops” aircraft. Lethal Skies II has an amazing 20 new missions, along with five bonus unlockable missions where players can reverse roles and play as the enemy. The game pits players against the greatest array of enemy war machines ever amassed, fighting nearly every known conventional air, land and sea combat craft along with futuristic vehicles such as VTOLs, hover-tanks, battle mechs, giant helicopters, mobile fortresses, and attack satellites. Additional new features to the sequel include split-screen and i.link 2-player mode, interactive 3D battle maps, movie galleries, five different 1st and 3rd person POVs, customizable background music and an all-new dynamic fleet command capability where players can change aircraft and ordinance and issue new directives to their wingmen mid-mission.
