Artist Simon Tristan was eventually announced the Devastation Graffiti Champion winning the first prize of £1000 cash prize, Devastation t-shirt, mobile phone light, copy of the game, 28 Days Later DVD, poster and a screenplay signed by Director Danny Boyle, Author Alex Garland and Producer Andrew Macdonald. 10 runner-ups were also awarded a copy of Devastation and 28 Days Later (DVD).
The Devastation online graffiti site used cutting-edge Zewall online technology to allow budding artists to spray, paint and daub their designs using a variety of spray types and colours.
