Hothouse Creations today announces that it has signed a second development deal with international publisher Konami to produce an as yet un-named game for PlayStation 2, PC and X-Box. The deal will see Hothouse further its relationship with Konami, who recently published Casino, Inc. by the Bristol-based developer. The game is scheduled for release in the Summer of 2005, and Hothouse has recruited Pete O'Brien, former Producer at Sega Corporation, to lead the project. Further details about the game will be released in due course.

Hothouse has also promoted Andrew Luckett to Head of Studio, to be responsible for all the company's development activities. Andrew has been with Hothouse since April 2001 as Executive Producer.

Co-founder Rob Davies, previously responsible for development, will now become Marketing Director.

Managing Director Martin Carr comments that "Hothouse is delighted to be working on an original game with Konami, which will showcase our new technology. It is an exciting time for the company, with Pop IdolTM looking as if it will be very strong for us this Christmas, and some other concepts at prototype stage which we are looking to discuss with publishers".
