Each winner at the U.S. Finals will receive a free trip to Seoul, Korea to compete as a member of Team USA at the WCG 2003 Grand Final event taking place in October. In Korea, Team USA will compete against the top gamers from 55 countries around the world for a share of $350,000 in cash and prizes. All of the participating U.S. finalists also received a state of the art PC and Samsung 19” Flat CRT monitor.

We are sending a great squad of the country’s top gamers who will not only represent the U.S. well, but also have an excellent chance to bring home the medal title.”
The U.S. Finals held tournaments in the following games: Half-Life: Counter Strike, WarCraft III, StarCraft: Brood War, Unreal Tournament 2003, Age of Mythology, FIFA Soccer 2003 and Halo for Xbox™. The Samsung WCG 2003 USA Finals were supported by lead sponsors Samsung Electronics America, CompUSA, NVIDIA Corporation, and eVGA.com, with additional support from D-Link, Belkin, HardDrive.com, Intel, and Dada Supreme.
