DRG 3D/GBA Engine - Update & Screens

by Thomas on Sept. 2, 2003 @ 2:48 a.m. PDT

An update from Bobbee Tec on their GBA 3D engine, complete with particles, dynamic lighting, physics and frightening spiders. Read more for the pressrelease and screens!

Just a quick note to let you know that we've updated our website again...

No press release quite yet, but we wanted to send these off so you could see what the GBA is *really* capable of!

As always, DRG 3D/GBA is the only fully 3D engine on GBA that support Particles, Dynamic Lighting, Physics, and a huge host of other stuff that's common on PC, PS2 and XBox, and completely unheard of on GBA!

This time around, we've focused our update on DRG 3D/GBA as a complete game engine instead of just highlighting specific tech. features and capabilities.

You see, all of our earlier media (and infact most of the site) was really aimed at developers and publishers (and not end-gamers) ... but with so many actual gamers visiting, we wanted to show what DRG 3D/GBA could do, but in a way that everyone can instantly recognize - so, this update is for them (and you!)

Monsters, Weapons, Explosions, Damage (think "Rocket Jumping!"), Special F/X and all the stuff people expect to see in a FPS (well, on the PC anyway!) is now showcased in two sets of new screenshots (10 total) and three new, longer, videos (40-ish sec. each).
