"Rocket Power videogames have sold more than 1.7 million units to date," said Peter Dille, senior vice president, worldwide marketing, THQ. "We're happy to add Rocket Power: Zero Gravity Zone to our library of successful Game Boy Advance titles, further strengthening our position as the number one independent handheld publisher."
"THQ has turned out an extreme sports video game based on Rocket Power that kids can enjoy," said Steve Youngwood, vice president, Nickelodeon Media Products Group. "Fans of the show will enjoy Rocket Power: Zero Gravity Zone, as will fans of the extreme sports game genre."
Rocket Power: Zero Gravity Zone features four members from Nickelodeon's Team Rocket Power: Otto, Reggie, Twister and Sam. Players will guide their favorite character through a skateboard themed amusement park that includes eight environments where players can test their skills in three modes of gameplay including free skate, career mode or multiplayer action. Special power-ups increase the player's skill level as they progress through each action-packed environment.
