Legacy Interactive announced today Law & Order: Justice is Served has shipped to retail locations nationwide with an SRP of $29.95. Exclusively for PC/CD-ROM, Law & Order: Justice is Served is rated T for Teen and is distributed by Vivendi Universal Games in North America.

Law & Order: Justice is Served is the third title in the series of games from Legacy Interactive based on the Emmy Award-winning TV drama. Players team up with their favorite stars from the TV show including Jerry Orbach, Jesse L. Martin and Elisabeth Röhm to uncover and prosecute the person behind the death of a young female tennis star just before the start of the biggest match of her career.

"The next installment in the Law & Order series, Law & Order: Justice Is Served presents players with a compelling new case, enhanced gameplay features and a new character, Ed Green," said Ariella Lehrer, Chief Executive Officer of Legacy Interactive. "Legacy Interactive is proud to be able to continue the tradition of allowing fans to become part of their favorite TV shows by providing them with a realistic interactive experience."

First, players will begin as part of the investigators alongside Detectives Lennie Briscoe (Orbach) and Ed Green (Martin) having to gather and analyze evidence, solve puzzles, and interrogate witnesses. Then, players move to the courtroom and assume the role of Assistant District Attorney. With the help of A.D.A. Serena Southerlyn (Röhm), players must build a case against the defendant and convince the jury to return a guilty verdict. Tennis personality Patrick McEnroe makes a cameo appearance in Law & Order: Justice is Served, and is featured as himself.

Fans of the show and the previous PC games will encounter a variety of new features, providing for enhanced show authenticity and superior gameplay mechanics. New game features include:
