The games are based on the upcoming Warner Bros. Pictures holiday release, "The Polar Express," an adaptation of the internationally acclaimed children's book. The Polar Express video games are now available at retailers across North America.
"The Polar Express film, which opens nationwide November 10, reunites the Academy Award winning team of Tom Hanks and director Robert Zemeckis and features the innovative blend of next-generation motion capture technology called performance capture," said Philip Holt, senior vice president, product development, THQ. "We are pleased to release video games that capture the impressive beauty of the film and include fun and exciting gameplay to draw players further into the story."
"The Polar Express games are furthering the evolving relationship between Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and THQ," said Jason Hall, senior vice president, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. "We're pleased to see the much-anticipated film translated into an interactive adventure so players can become further engaged in the story and ultimately enhance their film-going experience."
