Get the Rebirth of Honor demo off WP (19mb)

Before you start the campaign, you should visit the mission editor (standard) of IL-2FB.

1. Select the plane type 'Bf-109G-6' as your personal plane. Then move to the weapons- screen.
2. Shut off the switch for the insignia. (No insignia have to be shown for your personal plane)
3. Load your personal pilot's skin: '%_01_MX_ER_S.bmp'
4. At last, load the right skin for your personal plane: 'MD_G-6_Ylw03_MX+79.bmp'

Now you can load the demo- campaign. It is shown in the campaign list as: 'Rebirth of Honor' (Demo)

Rebirth of Honor is a 3rd party campaign expansion for the award winning IL- Sturmovik `Forgotten Battles®. It allows players to battle for supremacy in the historically accurate years of 1941and early 1942 and an alternate-reality 1942 and beyond.

In 1942 two Czech patriots parachuted into their homeland to carry out Operation Anthropoid, which called for the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich, "The Butcher of Prague." After the success of this covert mission, Allied Intelligence decided to begin Operation Foxley two years sooner than planned. The goal of Operation Foxley called for the elimination of Adolph Hitler. This second covert op proved much harder to complete, but upon its success in the middle of 1942, Germany, the war and your life are drastically changed forever.

The missions that take place prior to the middle of 1942 are created around real world events, locations and weather conditions. The missions flown in late 1942, after Hitler's death, will take place where the future of Germany, its strategy for fighting the war and its economic situation are all in flux. Will the elimination of Hitler help Germany avoid all his major mistakes and win the war, or will the conclusion of Rebirth of Honor® be something completely unexpected? Either way, players will walk away with fresh insight into how a simple act can have a far-reaching impact.
