by Rainier on April 12, 2004 @ 5:07 p.m. PDT

Auravision Inc. today announces the first products from the Fatal1ty line of professional gaming products, including the Fatal1ty/PWX system and a motherboard and graphics card created by ABIT Computer Corporation, a world leading manufacturer of award-winning motherboards, video cards, and server products. Fatal1ty will be at E3 in booth #6453 Kentia Hall answering challenges from 100 first-come-first-served attendees in four-minute Fatal1ty shoot outs. Challengers can win $1000 if they are able to beat Fatal1ty and other prizes can be won for scoring points against him.

Auravision’s gaming division signed an exclusive licensing agreement with leading gamer and three-time World Champion Gamer from the Cyberathlete Professional League, Johnathan “Fatal1ty” Wendel. Together, they will launch a new line of products for professional gamers under the Fatal1ty brand name starting with the motherboard and graphics card by ABIT and the Fatal1ty/PWX gaming system.

“We are very excited to be working with leading technology companies, ABIT and PWX, to bring winning Fatal1ty gaming equipment to gamers who demand the very best in their equipment,” notes Jeff Walden, Chairman and CEO of Auravision Inc. “At the same time, we’re happy to host an exciting event for gaming enthusiasts at E3.”

“We are thrilled to be working with PWX, Auravision, and Fatal1ty to bring gamers around the world the most powerful gaming system ever devised,” said ABIT Marketing Director Scott Thirlwell. “At E304, gamers will have the chance to experience ABIT hardware that has been tweaked and tuned by the world’s number one gamer.”

About Johnathan “Fatal1ty” Wendel

Johnathan first got involved in tournaments when he heard about a CPL’s Frag3 Tournament that took place in October 1999. He won third there and was invited to represent the USA in Stockholm two weeks later where he won undefeated, winning all 18 maps against the top players in the world. He continued to dominate competitions all over the world, including in Singapore, St. Louis, Los Angeles, New York, Dallas, Korea, Germany, Australia, Holland and Brazil, to name just a few. At QuakeCon 2002, he faced off against his rival ZeRo4 in one of the most highly anticipated matches of the year and ended up winning the match in a 14-(-1) flawless victory. He went on to place third overall in the event and fourth at the World Cyber Games USA a few months later. To top it all off, he won CPL Pentium 4 Winter Champions in December for Unreal Tournament 2003, a victory which netted the CPL Champion of the Year for the third year in a row—and each year for victories in a different game.
