SEGA today announced a selection of its showcase lineup of entertainment and sports titles to be featured at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), May 12-14, 2004. Extending its reach as an independent content publisher, SEGA Europe's E3 2004 lineup features titles developed for a broad base of platforms including PlayStation2, the Xbox and PC.

The SEGA Europe lineup features a diverse blend of action, adventure, sports, platform, puzzle, and RPG games, including the highly-anticipated debut of the beautiful OutRun2, the latest in the popular Worms series and the return of several classic SEGA franchises like Sonic the Hedgehog®, Virtua Fighter, and Samba de Amigo – all of which have been specially adapted by Yuji Naka's prolific SONICTEAM studio in SEGA SuperStars for EyeToyTM. Also on show for private viewings (by appointment only) SEGA Europe will be unveiling Football Manager 2005; Sports Interactive's new game based on their legendary and highly acclaimed sports management technology.

Naoya Tsurumi, President & COO, SEGA Europe Ltd, commented, "SEGA Europe's E3 lineup reflects a exciting and diverse portfolio, as we cater for a wide variety of gamers of all ages. Extending our immensely successful internal IP and brands, such as Sonic the Hedgehog in SEGA SuperStars for EyeToy, with acquired external content like the superb Football Manager, is key to our growth in Europe and highlights our continued commitment to bring quality games to all."

"We are delighted to be able to show our games at E3 for the first time in our company's 12 year history. Eastside Hockey Manager will be on display, with the original creator on the show floor to talk about the game, and a very lucky few will be able to see the genre defining Football Manager 2005 behind closed doors for the first time anywhere in the world," added Miles Jacobson, Managing Director, Sports Interactive.
