In MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf, developed by original Mech Assault creators Day 1 Studios, gamers will be able to step outside the 'Mech and live the life of a human pilot in a fresh new single player game. Tanks, VTOLs and BattleArmor will offer players plenty of opportunities to rain destruction on their opposition in both single and multiplayer games. Head on over to the freshly launched 'MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf' website or read more for new screens...

MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf will offer an entirely fresh and exciting gameplay experience for seasoned combat veterans and newcomers alike. Players will battle on foot, in the air and in massive 'Mechs as they attempt to control the Inner Sphere.

Microsoft Game Studios has also updated the name of the game to MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf to reflect the enhanced single player experience and more strategic gameplay that is focused on the player, not the machine. The intense action, destruction and easy pick-up-and-play game style is still there; but now solo gamers will find the single player campaign is now significantly richer, with a deeper storyline, new vehicles, NPC interaction and missions delivered on the fly.

“MechAssault 2 is about you, the player -- not the machine," said TJ Wagner, producer of MechAssault 2. "You’re the lone surviving MechWarrior from the Wolf’s Dragoons fighting to hold back the tide of chaos."
