"Iron Phoenix" follows the fate of an arsenal of legendary weapons forged from the shards of a massive meteor. A legend speaking of absolute power bestowed on anyone who controls the weapons is a call to arms among the greatest warriors in the Far East. A final battle is arranged to determine who controls the fearsome arsenal, and in turn the world. Featuring online fighting for up to 16 players over Xbox Live, nine deadly weapons with unique moves and massive combos, and expansive environments designed for strategic team combat and wire-fu style fighting, "Iron Phoenix" is a game that bows to no genre.

Forged ages ago from the incandescent core of a meteor, the heavenly arsenal of the "Iron Phoenix" proved so potent that it assured crushing victory over any foe. For good or evil, these weapons unwaveringly serve their master, and now a final group of combatants must seize their destiny and harness the destructive power of the "Iron Phoenix."
"Iron Phoenix" introduces a new genre to Xbox Live with 16-player team combat and an intricate combo-based fighting system. Players can engage each other in massive and diverse environments with a variety of close-up and ranged attacks, agile wire-fu maneuvers, and devastating team-chained combos. The new screenshots highlight the game's authentic Chinese weaponry, detailed character models and environments and gravity defying fighting styles.
Characters in the game can wield any of the nine ferocious weapons of the “Iron Phoenix,” each with its own assortment of attacks ranging from melee strikes and long-range assaults to devastating special moves.
Revealed today are two new characters from the game’s mystical China premise; DeRais, a mysterious northern warrior known for his savage swordplay, and Onitsuka, a lethal but beautiful ninja warrior. Also revealed is another one of the deadly weapons forged from the core of the “Iron Phoenix” meteor: a massive broadsword called the Ash Blade.
