A mystery aficionado, Sheldon has made a major contribution to the adventure genre, with contributions in URU: Ages Beyond Myst, Wild Wild West: The Steel Assassin and Ripley's Believe It or Not!: The Riddle of Master Lu. His television credits include Murder She Wrote, Quincy, ME, Charlie's Angelsand Star Trek: The Next Generation.
"Lee is an extraordinary talent," said Richard Wah Kan, CEO of The Adventure Company. "Capturing the original essence and suspense of a Christie novel will be quite a challenge, but we're confident that we've sleuthed out the right man for the job."
Over the next six years, The Adventure Company will release five PC games adapted from Agatha Christie novels as part of a global deal with Chorion PLC, the owner, developer and manager of branded entertainment content. The development team, along with the first novel chosen for adaptation, will be announced in September. The first title will be available at retail in fall of 2005.
