"Topping our 'why we want to work with Aspyr list' is their strong reputation of working with top-name companies and staying true to the creator's vision. This was very appealing to us," said Seropian. "We've known this team for many years and have always been impressed by the creative freedom and the flexibility afforded to their development and content partners. We are going to have a great time playing mad scientists in our lab and then handing off our first born to Aspyr. Their drive and desire to focus on this product and see it succeed matches our own."
"Wideload has an incredibly talented team with a proven track record of delivering original games that have sold in the millions. They're a great team, we're a great team, and together we're a powerful combination," said Michael Rogers, president of Aspyr. "We've padded our walls and removed all sharp objects from our offices, so we can be ready for the craziness that Wideload will deliver."
Aspyr will work closely with Wideload to make sure that the vision and feel of the game is reflected in all aspects of bringing this title to market. Furthermore, Aspyr is leveraging its music and film ties to create a campaign that is just as twisted and off the wall as the game itself. Stay tuned (and we mean tuned) for some interesting developments.
