- Unpack the editor.zip package to the game directory to make custom maps (unsupported but manual included).
- Unpack other people's map directories into the "custom" folder to play (the map.ini file should be one level below custom eg. custom/mymap/map.ini)

New lobby features:
- Global chat lobby with multiple rooms where people can meet.
- Skirmish option in singleplayer menu.
- Multiplayer/Skirmish AI personality selection and boss type selection in the Lobby.
- One other player is now allowed to use the server's key in LAN games.
- Auto progress to next when Campaign level completed.
New ingame features:
- Character icons flash red when taking hits
- Hotkey to jump to main safehouse position (default H).
- Put out contract spawns a taskforce.
- Vehicles can now be added to the 1-9 hotkey selections.
- Additional onscreen messages (unit seduced, wife attacked, bounty paid).
- Boss markers for allied players in (multiplayer) conquests.
Adjustments:
- Extra skins for store managers and hoodlum leaders.
- Unit balancing: Superbouncer hp down, Assasin hp up, seductress power down.
- Slightly raised the target height for shooting vehicles (making it easier to hit characters on stairs etc).
- Put out contract now only allows one contract per minute.
- Alerts when vehicles are being shot at, no alert from the vehicle when shooting.
Fixed problems:
- Vehicle camera occasional 360 degrees rotation fixed.
- Blocked slots save/load fixed.
- Conquest 14 setup fixed.
- Conquest 5 save/load fixed.
- Vehicles can no longer push characters into obstacles.
- Dead characters now finish their dead cycle in any case.
- Characters should no longer be trapped for no reason when multiple vehicles are involved.
- Buildings no longer leaves inactive mafioso collectors when "sold".
- No longer possible to trap the COP in the safehouse, COP now (again) closes down businesses if angry.
- In-office functionbar still works after talking to COP.
- No longer possible to put out contracts on dead characters.
- Multiplayer bossmarkers should work even with hard setting.
Fix Information:
This update includes all the fixes in the 1.1 update and the following additions: 1.2.1 (Savegame patch)
New Features:
- Checkpoint save in singleplayer campaign.
- Singleplayer ingame pause (default P).
- General command delay (default Left Windows).
- Move to last minimap alert (default M).
Multiplayer improvements:
- Ability to disable computer players in multiplayer games (cycle through the teams to "No Computer").
- New console command: net.join [password] (can even join games only announced local (bypassing GameSpy)).
- New console command: net.status (to see who is lagging etc).
- Bigger, more readable console font (mostly for chat messages).
- Server list join confusion fixed.
- Zonealarm/norton firewalls no longer cause lockups when the game is accessing the net.
- Hosting failed detection, port setup described ingame.
Fixed problems:
- New infiltrator definition: infiltrated family can't overrule commands being executed by the infiltrating family.
- The computer players now starts a little later than the human players.
- Fixed rotation problem when switching directly between vehicles.
