Ascaron announced todya that its latest title in the Tortuga franchise has been renamed from Pirate's Revenge to Tortuga: Two Thrones. Ascaron has added additional storywriters to the team, and as a result the game expanded beyond its original boundaries, and so a name change was in order.

The story revolves around Thomas Blythe, a small time captain in Blackbeard's fleet, who gets promoted and has to deal with the larger responsibilities. You will participate in sea-battles and defend yourself in one on one fencing duels on shore or on deck of ships you boarded. You will also have to complete some logical obstacles such as solving flag code puzzles, in which you have to find out the proper arrangement in order to pass through a guarded passageway with your ship.

'Tortuga: Two Treasures' is due to hit stores in April 2006.
