'Stargate SG-1: The Alliance' (PS2/Xbox/PC) - 4 New Screens

Stargate SG-1: The Alliance will be an action-based game playable in the first- or third- person perspective. Depending on the mission, there will be other tasks that have elements of team tactics, puzzle-solving and stealth. First and foremost, you will never walk alone – your team will be there to look after you, but you will also have to look after them, so it differs from most "straight" shooters.

JoWooD and WorthPlaying are offering Stargate fans (male or female) the opportunity to appear in the upcoming Stargate SG-1: The Alliance video game and be immortalized as a supporting character. Head on over to our freshly-launched World of StarGate fan site to enter!

The game uses a heavily modified and graphically enhanced Unreal 2.5 engine, and fans of the series will immediately recognize certain areas from the TV show.

All of the classic multiplayer modes like Death Match, Capture the Flag, and team variations will be integrated, but there will also be more innovative modes which make use of the unique Stargate setting. The SG1 team is at the heart of Stargate SG1: the Alliance, so co-op is naturally one of the most exciting options available for the game.
