Resolution Interactive AB and Bombardier Recreational Products Inc (BRP) have signed a Licence Agreement for snowmobile game Ski-Doo X-Team Racing for PC featuring the new sled models of 2006. BRP will use the game as a marketing tool during upcoming seasons, while Resolution is given the rights to exploit the game on markets worldwide.
Matti Larsson, CEO, Resolution Interactive, “The Ski-Doo agreement gives us distribution channels and marketing support to make the game successful. Online multiplayer and dynamic in-game advertisement is supported as part in our strategy to spearhead online game technology and innovation”.
During two snowmobile seasons (2005-06 and 2006-07) two demo versions of the X-Team Racing game for PC will be featured on the official Ski-Doo website, www.ski-doo.com, and Freestyle website, www.ridefreestyle.com, which has on average 450,000 visits per month, with a peak of 1 million at launch of new models.
