Be ready for a double-dose of cinematic intensity and chaotic battles as Activision, Inc.’s Call of Duty: Deluxe Edition has shipped to retail outlets nationwide. The newest addition to the best-selling franchise includes the highly acclaimed Call of Duty: Game of the Year edition, Call of Duty: United Offensive, along with the original Call of Duty soundtrack and strategy guides.

“The Call of Duty franchise has established itself as the benchmark for epic, intense and cinematic WWII gaming among fans around the world,” states Dusty Welch, vice president of global brand management, Activision, Inc. “Call of Duty: Deluxe edition delivers two great blockbuster games together – the complete Call of Duty package for one low price.”

Call of Duty: Game of the Year edition features Infinity Ward’s original award-winning first-person action game in addition to all post-release product updates, including new multiplayer modes and maps, EAX 3 sound support, mapmaking toolkit and multiplayer gameplay enhancements. The game takes players to the frontlines of WWII combat, as an ordinary soldier fighting together with their squad through the war’s most epic battlefield moments. Call of Duty: Game of the Year edition also delivers an intense team-based multiplayer experience for up to 32 combatants.

Developed by Gray Matter Interactive Studios, Call of Duty: United Offensive allows gamers to experience more of WWII’s most legendary conflicts in three all-new campaigns, including the U.S. Battle of the Bulge, the British campaign as an airman shooting down German ME-109s from a B-17 bomber, and as a Russian conscript on the frontlines of the crucial eight-day Battle of Kursk. Additionally, Call of Duty: United Offensive expands on the popular multiplayer experience of the original Call of Duty, featuring new maps and modes of play and vehicle-based combat aboard jeeps and tanks.

Call of Duty: Deluxe edition for the PC is rated “T” (Teen – Blood, Mild Language, Violence – content suitable for persons ages 13 and older) by the ESRB and carries a suggested retail price of $39.99.
