'Star Defender II' - Demo Available NOW

Star Defender II is a new Galaga-inspired game that is nothing but a continuous survival marathon that is sure to exhaust even the most experienced players. The game is 100 levels long, jam packed with amazingly detailed and uniquely different species of aliens (total of thirty) and is undoubtedly one of the toughest scrolling shooters in the world. So tough, in fact, that David Laprad of Gamextazy.com rightfully wrote that the only thing the game lacks is mercy.

Star Defender II has been created by a team of four developers on a small budget barely enough to buy a used car. Creative solutions and constant thinking outside the box that arose from these limitations resulted in producing one of the most unusual looking games currently on the market. All game details, planets, aliens and their egg sacks, gas clouds, weapons, menus and special effects are simply spectacular and a techno soundtrack that comes with the game makes the futuristic experience complete.

Although Star Defender II is quite a challenge, playing the game is brainlessly simple. The controls are "so basic, a monkey could play" and while the keyboard can be used, most people choose to play the game with their mouse only.

Star Defender II is distributed electronically over the Internet; the cost of purchasing the game is 19.95 US Dollars per copy; all registered users of the original Star Defender are eligible for a 25% discount.
