by Rainier on Sept. 12, 2005 @ 9:05 a.m. PDT

Putt Nutz is a fast paced, over-the-top title that brings all the fun of miniature golf into your living room. This original game takes full advantage of the graphical power of modern consoles with hand painted backgrounds and fully animated 3D environments.

Hand painted backgrounds and fully animated 3D environments bring this game to life for the entire family. Black Mountain Games is currently looking for a Publisher to bring all versions of Putt
Nutz to market.

"After completing production for the console version we realized we could not leave out the PC crowd," said Suzanne Brooks, President and CEO of Black Mountain Games. "Putt Nutz is the perfect game for children and adults who want additive gameplay with no violence. In a day when many games are just too strong for younger players Putt Nutz is a great solution, kids will love it and adults won^Òt find it too childish."

Black Mountain Games has a completely unique Family Sports title based on America's love of putting which has propelled Miniature Golf into a billion dollar a year industry. This original single and multi-player game features a family of characters, collectables, unlockable content and unique levels loaded with interactive elements. The completed and fully playable title includes 72 holes each having their own art style, including a mysterious island, a fiery volcano, an underwater kelp forest with sea turtles and even a course were the player is only four inches tall. In case people feel like playing more than golf when they get together, the title has eight mini games. The PC version has the additional benefit of much higher resolutions allowing players to really enjoy the fantastical settings.

"It was key for us to complete the console version of the game first and then develop it for the PC" said David Brooks, the lead programmer on Putt Nutz. "That way we guarantee that the game has a fast-paced console-style feel that is simple enough for children to pick up, and yet has depth and replay value that teenagers and adults demand."
