Capcom Working On New 'Street Fighter' Movie
by Rainier on Oct. 30, 2006 @ 1:09 a.m. PST
Capcom has signed an agreement with Hyde Park Entertainment to produce a follow up to the 1994 original Street Fighter movie, then starring Jean-Claude Van Damme. While the first movie featured most of the game's characters, the sequel will focus on the game's most popular female fighter, Chun Li, but the exact storyline is being kept under wraps. The new Street Fighter movie is scheduled for 2008, the 20th anniversary of the game franchise.
