Your favorite mechanical helpers are back as the Tokobots help Bolt unlock and discover the Mysteries of the Karakuri! The Tokobots are swinging, climbing, and spinning their way back into action this year on the PS2 in a totally enhanced and upgraded Karakuri experience.

The storyline follows Bolt, a young man living in the land of Moritari, where a prehistoric race once created extraordinary technology. Lost for millennia, this technology is now being excavated from ruins by private laboratories. However, the rediscovery of the Tokobots, wondrous mini-mech companions, catches the attention of evil treasure hunters, who plot to use their powers to take over the world. It’s up to you, playing as Bolt, to put a stop to their dastardly plan.

Players begin with just six Tokobots but will soon have to seek out extra robots in order to deal with increasingly complex problems. Tokobots are able to join together with Bolt to create useful ‘Karakuri Combinations’, such as ladders, swings and gliders. Master these and watch your Tokobots go into ‘Overdrive’, merging to become ultimate weapons like the Samurai Hover, Mega Hammer, or SuperTank!
