The new team will be managed on a day-to-day basis by Mike Delves who, in turn, will report to Trevor Williams - Managing Director of Swordfish Studios. Commenting on the new opening Williams had this to say,
"These are exciting times for us all at Swordfish. Sierra Entertainment's dedication to produce games to the highest possible standard is providing some really exciting opportunities for the Swordfish team. Not only that, but Manchester is already proving to be a fantastic location from which to tempt some of the best gaming talent in the North of England."
Swordfish Studios continue to benefit from the heritage, enthusiasm and great resources that are becoming synonymous with the Sierra brand, a division of Vivendi Games. The investment in the Manchester based development house also stands as testament to their ongoing faith in the UK development industry.
