"What I do and what the streetballers do are the same thing," says rap artist Freeway, who grew up on the same gritty Philadelphia streets as AND1 streetball legend, Aaron "AO" Owens. "We both need to be creative and original to get recognized."
Hip hop and Streetball go hand in hand. Both performances are based on originality and dynamic showmanship. To compliment AND 1 Streetball's showcase of the most talented streetballers from every region, the game's soundtrack will also showcase the most talented hip-hop artists from every region. The AND 1 Streetball Videogame Soundtrack features a loaded and customizable library of exclusive tracks from various hip-hop genres, including Dirty South Crunk, West Coast Hyphy, and East Coast. Each court will have its own sound and flavor players can choose which courtts they want to play and which tracks they want to hear.
Zvi Edelman, the exclusive soundtrack's producer, traveled the U.S. recording brand-spanking-new tracks to accompany the regional courts in the game.
