These tournaments will attract players from all over and provide them with the opportunity to test what they have learned off-line against other players and see who comes out on top.
Masters points will be awarded to the top finishers in every tournament. The number of Masters points players can earn in a tournament will depend on the buy-in, number of other players and, of course, how far they make it. Players can only earn Masters points in these sanctioned tournaments, though they will be able to increase their bankrolls by playing in other online tournaments and cash games.
Every week there will be at least one ring tournament, and winners will be able to show off their championship jewelry to other players in future games. The chance to play for the more coveted rings (Platinum, Diamond Ruby, Black Diamond) will be rare and sporting one of these will certainly provide increased intimidation to the other players at your table.
MTV STACKEDTM Masters Tournaments are scheduled, live events. To compete, players will need to register in advance of the tournament, and check in to play prior to the start time, but no more than one hour prior to the start time.
